Where are the games played?
All games are played at the outdoor rink in Collingwood, Ontario at Central Park behind the YMCA.
Who is allowed to play?
This league is open to men and women who are 17 years of age and older.
Is this league competitive or recreational?
The Collingwood Adult Ball Hockey League is competitive.
How long does the season last?
The season starts April 14th and plays every Thursday night at 7, 8 or 9pm with the season ending August 24th.
You will play between 20-22 games which includes a regular season and playoffs.
How long do the games last?
Each game will be three, 15 minute run time periods. The last 2 minutes of the 3rd period will be stop time if the score is within 2 goals.
Where can I pickup a registration form and who do I drop it off to?
You can pick up an application from Play It Again Sports, Andrew's Copy Center or from Greg Weeks directly. You can also print off an application form from the registration section of this website. REGISTRATION HAS CURRENTLY ENDED FOR THE 2011 SEASON.
What is the cost to play and what does it include?
The cost is $120 which includes 20-22 games.
Can I register an entire team or do I need to register as an individual?
You may register as either.
What equipment is needed?
You will need proper running shoes and a stick. As this is a competitive league, hockey gloves are strongly recommended. You may also consider purchasing soccer shin pads.
